As Children become toddlers they become explorers. In our Toddler One program, we use this to aid in their development. We have a daily schedule that includes activities to enhance their large and small muscles, such as tunnel play, building with blocks, ad hand-eye coordination games. At this age, children are beginning to recognize colors, animals, and shapes. We help develop this by making colorfully illustrated books, watching videotapes, and making art projects by coloring, gluing, and painting. Singing and dancing are also a big part of the day.
